Differences between old and new standards in steel grille in

Steel grille plate is usually made of carbon steel. Hot-dip galvanizing can prevent oxidation. It can also be made of stainless steel. The steel grille has ventilation, lighting, heat dissipation, anti-skid, explosion and other properties.

The new and old standards in the steel grille industry are different. Here are the differences

  1. The old standard only has more than 50 varieties and specifications. The new standard has been extended to more than 100 varieties and specifications. Users can order according to different needs and expand the scope of use.

The new standard does not rigidly stipulate the size, shape and spacing of load flat steel and cross bar. It only stipulates that "steel lattice plate is arranged by longitudinal bar and cross bar according to certain spacing, longitude and latitude". The manufacturer can meet the user's requirements.

  2. The old standard YB4001-91 is formulated by the Australian standard, which stipulates that 59 specifications only stipulate the production method of pressure welding.

The new standard is formulated by British standard BS4592-1995. In addition to stipulating the production method of press welding, it also stipulates the methods of riveting and pressing lock, including various methods of producing steel grille at home and abroad. All domestic manufacturers are applicable and can implement the new standard.

  3. The new standard adds several new contents in the appendix: design requirements, installation requirements, safety load requirements, load and deflection test methods, weight and area calculation methods of finished steel grille plate, etc. The appendix of the standard adds the specified contents to facilitate the selection, design and use of materials by users.
